The Montrose Republican Party is officially represented by the Montrose County Republican Central Committee whose membership includes two precinct committeepersons from each of the 28 precincts within Montrose County, six District Captains, four Committee Chairs, nine elected officals who reside in Montrose County, and five members of the Executive Committee. The Central Committee's official task is to conduct the County Caucus and County Assembly in each election year. Other functions include assisting Republican candidates in their campaign efforts in Montrose County, monitoring elections on behalf of Republicans, conducting voter registration drives, raising funds through events and other fundraisers in support of Republican candidates, educating local Republicans, and assisting elected officials.
Other Montrose Republican organizations include the Montrose Republican Women and the Montrose Young Republicans.
